The Extech HDV610 HD VideoScope with 5.5mm Flexible Probe is an inspection camera device with a 5.7 inch colour LCD TFT screen that has a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The device can also be attached to the included 5.5 millimetre video scope macro probe that can rotate 60 degrees on a metre-long cable.

Also included in this video scope kit is an optional wireless transmitter that makes it easy for you to send video straight to your monitor from up to 100 feet (30 metres) away from where you are.

The head of the camera probe itself  is compact and light, not to mention water proof, and produces high resolution images and videos. It is also installed with four LED lamps with a dimmer so that you can get the proper close up view of where you’re working.

The microSD card included in with this device can store up to 14,600 images and up to 4 hours of video footage, which can be enhanced by annotations and can be also stored on the microSD card. Storing the data then means they can be easily transferred straight onto a PC.

. The design of the Extech HDV610 HD VideoScope with 5.5mm Flexible Probe has also been cleverly thought through to produce ergonomic handles that don’t get slippery when wet and easily mould to the shape of the hand for non-slip grip.
