The Tamaya Planix 5 Digital Planimeter provides quick and accurate measurements of regular and irregular shapes on 2 dimensional plans, maps, and drawings. It is precise, versatile, easy to use, and eliminates the need for manual calculation using grids and charts. Its accuracy rate is better than 0.2 percent. The polar arm moves effortlessly and allows precise calculation within a 14 inch (35.6cm) wide circular area. This tool is perfect for architects, medical professionals, surveyors, engineers, contractors, and anyone that relies on true measurements from maps, plans, or drawings.
This polar planimeter provides extremely accurate measurements that can be used for any project or task. The polar arm affords a generous measuring range that allows you to measure in actual square centimeter or inches for any shape. It automatically accumulates measurements as you go. Use the hold feature to halt accumulation. There is also a handy reset feature that sets the readout back to zero. The sum and average features provide total and average measurements, respectively.
